| i cannot connect windows mail
i am on my son`s computer, trying to connect windows mail.I have put in exactly what is on mine and i get error message The host 'SMTP' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Subject 'test', Account: 'POP3', Server: 'SMTP', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D but everything is correct like mine, so what am i doing wrong? i have spent all day tring to work it out please help someone |

Both connected to through the same ISP??? I doubt that you have duplicated all the settings. The incoming server name you used: "SMTP" is not valid.
