Cannot Send email from Charter in Windows Live Mail

I am on Windows Vista and using Windows Live Mail on it. If I am trying to send mail from Charter then I am getting the following error message that says "Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity."

Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

If I try to send mail from Gmail in Windows Live mail then I dont get any kind of errors. Can anyone help?

Could you please tell us whether you are sending the mail from your home or from some computer which is away from your home? Also what kind of antivirus software are you using? Incase if you have either Mcafee or Norton antivirus installed on your pc then you will have to either turn off the email scanning features in the antivirus or otherwise uninstall them completely. You see, these 2 antivirus are very troublesome and conflict with Windows Mail.

Even I am facing similar type of problems with Windows Live Mail. I am getting the error message ox800cccoe secure ssl: no socket error 10060. The antivirus that I am using is Trend Micro and I have already turned it off, but still am getting the same error. I have been trying to find solutions from last 3 days and still havent got any clue for it. Help please.
