windows Mail configuration for Orange

Hey guys, am trying to configure an Orange email account on windows mail since yesterday but haven’t succeeded yet. Though am entering correct login credentials it just keeps on asking for username and password.

Somebody please help me with the settings required for Orange Mail. Thank you.

Once you entered the correct username and password, when you get the pop up again for username just cancel the same and go to Tools > Accounts > Select Account > Properties > Server tab and see if it is showing up correctly here. If yes, than you should better contact Orange for the settings. Make sure that they allow POP3 or IMAP access. Than only it will work.

The best solution I can suggest is to delete this orange account from Windows Mail, restart the mail again and re-create your Orange account. If still you getting the same problem than either your email account is corrupted or you are surely entering wrong username and password. You should try clicking on forget password on their web page based mail account and retrieve new password.

Also Which security suit have you installed on your computer? Just ensure that email scanning is turned off in your Antivirus program. Few times they too create such issues.
