Windows Hotmail/Live mail server?!?!?

I recently bought a MSI laptop with Vista Home Premium. This is the first time I’m going to use any built-in windows mail client. I dint ever used outlook as well. Today while I was setting up my Windows Mail, it asked me for ‘mail server’. This is completely new for me. How do I know what is my mail server.

So can anyone of you please let me know what Windows Live’s mail server is? And does ist outgoing server require authentication? Thanks in advance.

If you are using Free Hotmail or Live email account that let me tell you that they wont support POP3 access and hence it will not work in Windows Mail. Either you need to upgrade your email account to Hotmail Plus by paying extra OR upgrade Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail for free.
