Vista Updates fail to install

I have some updates ready to install and when I install them and have to
restart my computer, this comes up
"Updates were not configured correctly. Reverting changes. Do not turn off
your computer"
What should I do in order to fix this issue so that I can install the updates?
Here are the updates that do not install:
1)Update for Windows Mail Junk E-mail Filter(KB905866)
2)Update for Windows Vista(KB938371)
3)Security Update for ActiveX Killbits for Windows Vista(KB948881)
4)Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 in Windows
Vista(KB947864)
5)Security Update for Windows Vista(KB941693)
6)Security Update for Windows Vista(KB945553)
7)Security Update for Windows Vista(KB948590)
