I've been getting Error Code: 0x8007F0F4 when installing Windows XP SP3
(KB936929). Does anyone know how to fix this?

The problem I have is about the same as above, I did search a lot and
couldn't find anything helpfull.

The error in the windows update window is:
"some updates could not be installed" and further: "The following
updates were not installed: Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929)"

And did you look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949388 ??

Check out the file svcpack.log on Windows\ after update failed.
Last line should state the error.
Then proceed as in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949388

I have the same problem and got the message in the svcpack.log that I have to
uninstall KB925877. My problem is that the uninstall package is not available
on my PC anymore and only removing the package from the installlist is not
sufficient. Any suggestions other then reinstalling the complete Windows XP?
