    winxp SP3-error after download

Hi! I downloaded winXP SP3 ok, but at the end of the download, it

gave this message; "AIRCFG.exe-entry point not found. procedure

entry point aps getinterfacecount could not be located in the dynamic

    link library wlanapi.dll"

Now this comes up every time the computer restarts.

I don't know if it is important or not.

I have looked through the support in http://.support.

microsoft.com?kbid=936929 but there doesn't seem to be

    a section for this problem.

please let me know if I need do a fix on it?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

It seems like you are having a D-Link wireless network device, try
    reinstalling the drivers for it.

    Best regards,
    Michel Denie

    Hi there,

Reinstall the drivers for D-link and see if that solves your problem.

    Best regards,

    Re: winxp SP3-error after download

    Hi Tassie and everybody:

I have the same problem. I have a D-Link USB wireless adapter. When I
installed SP3 the D-Link device stop running and the error message appears.
The D-Link drivers do not run anymore, cause it can't find some procedures in
wlanapi.dll (entry point at apsSearchInterface). Reinstalling the drivers
    don't solve it.

Is there any solution for it?
    Regards

    Edward

AirCFG.exe - Entry Point Not Found apsSearchInterface couldn't be located in the dll / wzcsldr2.exe - entry point not found apsCreateMIB couldn't be found in the dll

Having the same issue. Reloaded the driver for my D-Link device to no effect.
    Anyone have any additional suggestions.

FYI - can't open IE either. Suspect it's related.
