error: c000139 after installing windows xp service pack 3

After installing the svc pack3 I got a blue screen and the following error
message stop: c000139 eingangspunkt nicht gefunden. Der
procedureeingangspunkt "GdiGetBitmapBitsSize" was not found in DLL"GDI32.dll"
Who knows how to solve the problem?

Is SP3 still installed ? If yes, you'll have to uninstall it first, then
restart the system. If not, skip to the next step.

Uninstall KB948590 from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
[make sure that the 'Show updates' box is checked towards the top of the
window]
Restart again.
Now reinstall SP3, if necessary.
Did that resolve the BSOD ?

i got it.
I have a Winternals ERD Commander 2005 boot cd. this cd contains some useful programs. I boot the PC with this cd, attach it to existing Windows XP installation and uninstalled Service Pack 3. Then windows xp successfully reboot. However, i have some instability issues right now :( but it is working

I've got the same message but i'm not able to get into windows to try and
uninstall anything....help!

I already post the answer. Just find or buy ERD Commander CD. Or may be another bootable CD which has revocery tools.
ERD Commander bootable cd has an unintall utility if u attach it to existing windows partition whether XP is running or NOT. I have tried it 3-4 times. And I am using that recovered PC right now without error and without SP3.
