Net Framework, Version 2.0 (KB928365) fails to install

Unable to register with Framework, Program will now exit.





'Automatic Updates' (PopUp Window)

Some updates could not be installed

The following updates were not installed:

'Security Update for Microsoft.Net Framework, Version 2.0 (KB928365)





I run XP Professional SP2 on a Dell Precision 690 and I have uninstalled all
Net Framework programs, the above continues to happen.



I would welcome advice and help in correcting the troubles and for this,
thank you.

Reinstalled Net Framework as instructed, all working correctly.
