    Vista reboot repeatedly after installing update

    I woke up today and found out my Vista PC reboot itself repeatedly and can't
    complete the Windows update installation. My PC is a Dell 8300 with Windows
    Ultimate (32 bit).

    I see the system, after reboot, saying "Configure update, step 3 of 3" and
    see it starts with 0% then to 93% and then it holds there for a while and
    then shut-down (reboot). It's been in this loop for last 5 hours.

    I discounted all attached devices, like external HD, printer, etc. I have
    also tried to reboot from safe mode, etc.; however, it always gets back to
    that configuration screen and then reboot itself.

    I also have OneCare...

    This is serious. Please help...

    Worked for me !!!!!!!!

    * Enter F5 to have the Windows boot manager

    * Then type F8 and select "Restore my computer"

    * A window opens named "Recovery Options"

    * Choose "English" and following

    * In the next window enter the name and password if
    any

    * In the main window "Recovery Options", choose the 2nd line
    "System Restore" or "System Restore"

    * After 2 min window opens System Restore

    * Choose a date prior to download updates

    * The PC should reboot.

    Disable update KB937287:

    Arriving on the desktop, click Start, then on panel
    configuration, and go on security, click on Windows UpDate and click
    "All history updates," Check that the update
    KB937287 is a failure,
    Otherwise click on "Check for Updates" and uncheck KB937287 in the
    list.

    This would have worked, unfortunately I don't have a previous restore point. Would it be easier for me to just do a system restore? I just installed Vista and started everything new like 3 days ago, so the only thing I have on there are Firefox and AVG. What should I do?
