Windows can't check for updates

I have Windows Vista. It started to show "Windows can't check for updates"
message. Then it says Error found: Code 80240013. I could not find any help
for this error. Anyone has any idea what I should do?
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate

Are you sure that's the correct error?

Try shutting down and restarting; that worked for me.

RE: Windows can't check for updates

i have the same error.
It began on April 11, 2008 for no apparent reason.
The error code is
Code 80240013

Rebooting doesn't help. I'm not having any other problems.
I have Windows Vista home basic (32-bit).

First and only problem with this operating system, but I can't seem to find
the code anywhere online.
I've only found this one post about it.
