    Exception Processing Message c0000102

I am using Windows XP sp2 and the following error message keeps on appearing:

    Exception Processing Message c0000102 Parameters 764ebf9c 764ebf9c 764ebf9c
    764ebf9c

I am also having trouble using windows update and the updates can't install
    after they are downloaded.

Does anyone know how to fix it please?

How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265

Strongly suggest you *backup any personal data ASAP* and then run chkdsk.
If there is only one partition or unpartitioned Hard Drive, then run it
from a Command Prompt with the following command:

    chkdsk /r
