Windows Update was displaying an "optional" installation for which I decided
to install it. Ever since this Optional installation was done, whenever I
shutdown Windows Vista, it won't shut down anymore. It just sits there with
the Shutting Down displaying and my HDD constantly working.
I've even disabled the WiFi device in "Network and Sharing Center" and the
problem persists.
I've verified if I can rollback the WiFi driver and Rollback is disabled
(greyed-out).
Does anyone know of this problem with this "Certified Windows Optional
Update"?
And how do I rollback that particular Optional Update?
