When I try to instal an update from windows update it show thath message:
"Error code 80070020" and i can't install the update.
can you help me?

You receive a "0x80070020 The process cannot access the file because it is being used by
another process" error message when you try to download an update from Windows Update or
from Microsoft Update

If you use BitDefender antivirus v10, you need to turn off your antivirus
scan then run update.

I have had the same issue and I contacted microsoft and they did all the trouble shooting to no avail. I disabled my firewall and virus scan and spyware scan and it still wouldn't install. I even tried installing it in safe mode and I still have the same problem. I was told to wait until it came out on updates since I was installing it from the website, but when I got in on the updates I still couldn't install it even after trying all the troubleshooting.

I have the same problem. Tried the help link above, but nothing helps. I run vista sp2. Any other suggestions?
