| Re: Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack Does Not In
Robin- I've already taken all the steps outlined in the document you reference, and yet I continue to receive "Installation failed" messages from Microsoft Update when trying to install the .net framework 1.1 Service Pack 1, despite the fact that Microsoft Update keeps saying that I need it. Is there any additional information that might be useful so that I can install the .net framework 1.1 update? Thank you in advance for your assistance. | Re: Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack Does Not In
I have stumbled across a web site with the solution. I had to re-install XP and the updater site tells me theService pack and WMP rollup needs to be installed. After reading from Geekswithblogs, I checked and they both are installed. If you have to re-load your programme, after you have downloaded ..Net 2, the system will tell you it needs installing, when it dosen't.You have to use ORCA (?)in the system to disable or remove 2 actions in the msi file. Check the web site .
