Installation Failure Error 0x800704C7

I downloaded XP SP2 when I was not at my computer.
When I returned installation had aborted,tried to restart it,
and the whole process of downloading started again.
On the update site in update history, the message
"Installation Failure Error code 0x800704C7" appeared
with "Try to install update again"
1) How do you install a downloaded update, if the download was successful?
I am using XP Proffessional. Can anyone HELP!

The error code you listed is usually generated when the user interrupts the
install, although not always. If an update download was sucessful but the
install failed it should reappear when you rerun update but will usually show
the file size as Zero indicating it has already been sucessfully downloaded
to the windows software distribution folder, when you tell update to install
it should then just begin the install rather then downloading again . As a
side note it is always a good idea to back up all your critical data before a
major install like this.

There are some known issues that can prevent a successful Service Pack 2
install
-Failing to have at least 1.8 GB of available hard drive space
-Bios compatability issues on some older computers - install the latest Bios
update from your computer manufacturers web site.
-Computer infected with viruses, adware etc. - DO NOT attempt to install SP2
on a computer you suspect may be infected until it has been cleaned. Make
sure all your protection software is up to date and scan your computer. If
you need help with a persistant infection there are excellent help forums on
the web to assist you with malware removal, major geeks and castle cops to
name a few, look for something like read me first as your entry point.
