Hello,

We are also facing similar issues while installing the update MS06-070
in some of the worskstations. I mean the update fails with a return
code 61453 & the log file similar to the one in the chain. But in some
wks it got installed when we re-attempted. The patches are getting
installed only locally. I could not think the reason could be neither
due to n/w issue nor any access priveleges in the registry because the
re-attempt was successful to a larger extent;

I am so curious to find the reason behind this issue. Kindly clarify me
& let me know if am missing something.

Many Thanks,
Anny
