Microsoft Access cannot open file on network place

After installing an internet explore 7 update, I received the following
    message.

Microsoft Access cannot open this file. - This file is located outside your
intranet or on an untrusted site. Microsoft Access will not open the file
due to potential security problems. To open the file, copy it to your
machine or an accessible network location.

The file I am trying to open is an access file on my network places.

RE: Microsoft Access cannot open file on network place

I just found out that I have the same problem. I located microsoft article
303650 and even though i don't understand it I was able to get my computer to
rad the access file i store on my p2p network. I used the workaround and I
just added in the name of my computer where I store the files. (ex.
//computername) and it worked. I have installed ie7 on 4 of my computers and
two of them had this problem. one of the computers is running access 2003 and
the othere access 2002 but that one is where i store all the files.

if you want to store in your server, lets call it myserver:
    \\myserver\theaccessFilePath\theAccessDB.mdb
