Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB92277

When downloading Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0
(KB922770) it fails .. Error 0x643 .. I have tried 3 times .. Same error ..
Any advice ??

I've treid it 5 times, also same error! ????????

I'm having the same downloading failure issue: I don't have any advice on how
to solve this problem, but I can see by the number of posts that this is not
an isolated incident. It could be possible that the update is corrupt?

I have had this problem twice since July 06. You will have to uninstall .NET
2.0 (use Total uninstall ( http://martau.com ) and reboot. Go to Windows
Update and reinstall .NET 2.0. Reboot again. Return to Windows Update and
the new Security Update for .NET 2.0 (KB922770) should appear - to be either
installed or downloaded and installed. Install it. Reboot again. It seems
to be important to reboot the PC after each install or uninstall.

"Ce" had the right way to correct problem .. I did not use "Total Unitstall",
I just used the add/delete function and removed .NET 2.0 .. Rebooted computer
and added .NET 2.0 again and the updated followed .. Thanks to "Ce" for the
hlp ..
