    Problem with KB913670

My automatic update function dowloaded this update, but it won't install.
Any suggestions? I don't really need this update. What can I do to get rid
of it or correct this problem?

That is not an error code. An error code has eight hexadecimal digits after
    the "0x"

    Re: Problem with KB913670

    Robin,

I have checked the referenced install error in the system events and the
windows update process reports a 0xffffffff. Not a good thing. The
application window for windows update gives a popup that shows error code 0x
    as the others have stated.
The installer is looking for the previously applied update for hte
Australian time change but fails if the original application of hte time
change was ignored or "hidden" in the user's preferences for the Windows
update site. I am seeing the same issue on systems I manage.

    Hope this helps...
