UPDATE Error number: 0x80070424

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME GET MY WINDOWS UPDATES TO START WORKING......
for two months now whenever i attempt to find updates, this is the error
number i receive. i'm IT illiterate, so please, please, please walk me
through the fix -- SOMEONE, ANYONE.

I've noticed a lot of people on this site from all over the world are having
this same problem. What's up, Microsoft??

Could you please help me with an error I am having with update.
I get error 0x8007041D
I went to your website www.fermu.com and it says I need to download NOD32
Antivirus System ?
It also says to beware with other antivirus software already installed on my
puter, that it could damage those files?
I currently have Spyware Doctor, NoAdaware 4.0, and Ad-Aware SE that I am
trying to remove. I want to fix my problem but dont want to get another
problem in return. Please help if you can! You have my undieing gratitude!!!

If you don't have installed nod32 antivirus system in your computer, you
don't need to download it.

Verify if the three Windows Update core services referred in this
article are properly set. Also try reinstalling the Automatic Update
Service.

Hi and thanks...
I currently have Spyware Doctor and NoAdAware installed and using them. I
been trying to delete Ad-Aware SE, with no luck. It says it cant find the
INSTALL.LOG file, as with yahoo also....same scenerio.

How do you reinstall windows update?

So far I have registered some dll's and realized what some of the problem
might be.
The 2 errors I have gotten are 0x8007041D and 0x800B0001.
I have a problem with the BITS and when I go in to manually start services I
get errors saying an error has been detected. Also, there is a problem with
my license and authenticity. The dates are okay, but there are other errors.

What can one say when a person with a simple answer solves the problem that
afectts thousands and no one else seems to have a clue about it???
