WSUS Client Update Failed with Error Code 0xC8000643

My Citrix-TS-Server will not update via WSUS:

Perhaps try the WSUS Newsgroup

First of all, as this specific error code typically occurs when using the WSUS
(Windows Server Update Services), I would like to know whether WSUS was used
when this update issue occurred. This factor is very important to our
troubleshooting, so please let me know it firstly. If the WSUS is not being
used, please feel free to refer to the below steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Delete the Windows Update temporary folder
==========================
1. Click Start, Run, copy "C:\Windows\System32\Net stop WuAuServ" (without
quotes) to the Open box, and then press Enter.
2. Click Start, Run, type: %windir% and press Enter.
3. In the opened folder, find and delete the folder SoftwareDistribution.
4. Click Start, Run, copy "C:\Windows\System32\Net start WuAuServ" (without
quotes) to the Open box, and then press Enter.

Do you realize this thread dates from January 2006 and was originally posted
only in microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services newsgroup?

Your fixed worked like a charm for me in January of 2009! (re: 0xC8000643)

Thank you Mir Mehdi, your suggestion helped me as well. It didn't solve the problem, but got me past that error to error 0xc80003fA which I could resolve using this posting from MS. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/916258
