I have tried that, along with everything else listed for this error. Believe
it or not I have even tried a system recovery, that's right a complete
reformatting of the system. This and the other 9 computers I get this error
on our brand new and have never been able to get updates. I tried yet a 2nd
system recovery using media i created on a machine that has always been able
to receive updates and nothing! It is not our router or configuration
because the 69 other computers on the same network our fine with updates. I
have concluded that it HAS to be a hardware issue affecting nothing but
update. There is absolutely nothing else it could be.
