Error Code 9370001 (KB947821) Windows Update

Hi Guys

Can anyone help me please with this problem? When running Windows Update it
detects a particular update called System Update Readiness Tool for Windows
Vista for x64-based Systems (KB947821) September 2009. As soon as I try to
install it, it keeps coming up with a Error found: Code 9370001. It's really
annoying. Help much appreciated.

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., Vista 64-bit SP1; Vista 64-bit
SP2) when posting in a forum or newsgroup. Please do so in your next reply.

Double-check that error number, please; it appears to be one digit short.

How long has KB947821 been failing to install?

Can you manually install the January 2010 version of KB957821 for Vista
64-bit?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the
computer (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?

problem is the error code 9370001

This is a update. Some of Vista updates is causing the error. There are certain troubleshooting steps that can help you to fix this. First you can download manual updates from Microsoft Website which are causing trouble and install them. They are KB951847 and KB947821. ed below. Remove the older version of dot net and re-install a newer version and then only run the updates setup.
