Error 25015. Failed to install assembly 'C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Microsoft.VisualBasic.Compatibility.dll'
because of system error: 0x80131107




I know I posted a thread below this one, but I need help on this too. I just need .NET Framework v2.0, so I tried to get it and at the end of install I got the error message above, and help?

I would like to suggest you the following steps and after that try to install the .NET Framework. to do this go through the below steps:

• Fisrt make click on the start and after that select the run.
• Now on the run program type CMD and after that hit the ok button.
• Next you will get the command prompt and under that type the follwoing and after that hit the enter.
  

  chkdsk c: /R

• Now wait till the command and once you finish that and after that install the .NET Framework again.
