I had some trouble in installing KB953297 and KB974811. Every time i try to
install i was getting an error message.I am on Vista Home Basic x86 upgrade
Version.I posted my problem to MicroSoft windows updates Support.I got a
reply from walter wang with some sugestions.The first time i tried it was as
if it installed,but after two minutes i was offered the same updates again
with an error message 643.The second time it installed successfully.START ALL
SERVICES BEFORE INSTALLING.This was my issue.

I to have the same problem, and error code, when you say start all, could
you explane what you did.

Please tell us what you mean by having to start all services.

I am sorry for the delay.i some how over look your request.when i said all
services.i meant that you open msconfig and in the startup if there are any
services disabled please enable them and then try to install it again.I am
sorry for the delay again.
