Error code 646

Hello,
I need help. I have 19 important installs that are need for my computer but
I keep getting error code 646. It states to reboot. I have rebooted and
restarted serveral times and error keeps being displayed. I am on OS Vista
and the computer is pretty new. I have Nortons and never had problems with
updates until today. Since I was getting the error I have hide them until I
can figuare out what is needed. The following are the updates that are trying
to be installed:

I too are repeatly getting the same error with 9 updates i have waiting,
also never had a problem before. i am running os vista home prem.

i had same problem,,,, i turned off all firewalls and turned off auto
updates,, completly off try that
