Oktober updates ........my laptop hangs at reboot at Stage 3 of 3 forever

After install of the oktober vista 32 bits updates a reboot is rewuired,
    after reboot it tells:
Configuring updates Stage 3 of 3 0% complete
this stays there forever, it never completes on my Dell laptop XPS M1710

( the update on my PC Dell XPS 420 was succesful )

    what could be the problem?

The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the
computer restarts when you try to install an update in Windows Vista

So all the updates are now installed successfully -

You can check which updates are installed on your computer by -
Start button || Control Panel || Programs
Under Programs and Features - click View installed updates.

If you like many internet trouble with vista and the updates which hangs at 3 / 3 and your pc restarts constantly . So here is the solution,
    1) Put a vista CD
    2) Launch the start of the pc.
    3) The installation begins to leave the.
    4) To the next page it will ask you if you want to install or repair the system
    5) choose repair
    6) You go to the page system repair
    7) choose a date to restore.
    8) choose the one you want.
    9) Leave the work until you restart.
