| XP Pro SP2 English version w/Hebrew MUI installed reverts to Engli
I have several systems at my lab with my corporate XP Pro SP2 English installed with Hebrew MUI installed over it for my employees. A recent automatic update has screwed up the language settings and now many of the icons, start menu items, control panel options and right-click menus reverted to English while still being right to left oriented. In the past, kb9643460 was pointed out to me by Microsoft support staff as causing this problem, but this update was manually disabled from installing via the Microsoft Update website for all my systems. I need to know which of the new automatic updates causes this problem so that I can disable it's installation in the future and how to resolve it without having to resort to a full system restore prior to the automatic update from the night before, or disabling automatic updates altogether (I do not wish my computers to be without proper security updates and fixes). I would appreciate it if someone could give me step-by-step instructions for this fix should this unknown update install itself again or on a new system, as I have many business customers who have recently reported this very same problem and need to come up with a solution. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me resolve these issues. -- Y.E.D.A. Computers |

I'm afraid you'll need to tell us which updates were installed just before the problem started. Check Update History section at Windows Update website to identify them. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ סשה wrote: > I have several systems at my lab with my corporate XP Pro SP2 English > installed with Hebrew MUI installed over it for my employees.
