.NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 & 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x

After downloading and installation using automatic updates this update caused
my pc to constantly reboot? I have had to revert back to .net framework 2.0
service pack 1.

Do you specifically need this update or is .NET 2.0 SP1
all that your applications require?
