    windows XP update blocked

Hello, when updating on windows I receiv the message: this site is trying to
open the list of trusted websited: shdocla.dll (I might have one of the
lesster worng in that) is this to be expected and should I let this to
happen? It comes on the microsoft update page.

I update always manually. I go to the windows update site. I choose which I
want to update, as I do not want to install service pack 3 at the moment.
Then when looking for other updates I get the message.

Any info? dutch or english OK

The specific name of the .dll is *important*.
    If it's shdocvw.dll or shdoclc.dll, then that's a system file.

Please post back with the specific name of the .dll file and what
program or firewall is giving you the message ?
