error C80003F3 on Vista Home Premium

When I try to get updates by using Windows Update on Windows Vista I
immediately get the error code C80003F3.

I use the Comodo firewall and Nod32 antivirus.

Any suggestions on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

The computer is out of memory.

a. Comodo v3.0.15.277 fixes "the bug causing Windows Updates to fail in
Windows Vista."

b. Or, if I-Defense is Enabled, see if Disabling it resolves the issue.

c. Or, Disable the Commodo firewall. Enable the native Vista firewall.
Reboot.

Did any of the above resolve the updating issue ?

I tried again today and suddenly windows update is working fine again.
Strange since I tried a number of times yesterday. Perhaps the firewall
updated itself?

Johan,

The issue may just have been that the system needed to be rebooted due
to a lack of free memory available.
Glad to hear that whatever the issue was has gone bye-bye. <w>

Still recommend you check to see if the firewall needs updating and/or
that it has already updated itself automatically.

When using Windows Vista update I get an error message code C80003F3. The
fix is for comodo firewall but I am using Vista Firewall and it is on. Since
I am not using comodo firewall, what do I do about my problem with Windows
Vista update?
