Security Update for SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 (KB948110)

I have tried a dozen times to install this update. I get Error Code: 0x2B33.
I emailed Microsoft about this and I received no answer. Can anyone help me?

Try doing a web search for the decimal equivalent of that code.

BTW are you sure that you have transcribed that code correctly?
A more common code is 2B22.

Search your harddrive for any files which the update changed
to contain either your code or its decimal equivalent too.

In any case I think you are likely to find more knowledgeable help
where SQL users convene. Cross-posting to an SQL NG for convenience.

Hi Lucy, I spent 2 days with Microsoft on the phone and they could not figure it out, so I did! When you click on the update icon and when the install updates window opens, click (or check) the advanced button. When selected, use do not install this update and click OK. That's it!
This update is for service pack 4, which M.S. hasn't even put out, so I don't know why auto update tries to install it. Another feather in Microsoft's hat!!
