I have exactly the same problem - have you managed to solve it yet?

I removed service pack 3 and now everything runs ok - takes a while, but
worth it - hope this is of use.

You do know that Extended Support for SP2 will end in 2010, right ?
That means no further security updates will be available for the system
unless SP3 is installed by then.

With SP3 installed, Extended Support will end in 2014.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)
Use this forum for all issues related to Windows XP SP3
    http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/...2010&SiteID=17
    or
    http://support.microsoft.com/oas/def...3&gprid=522131

" Free unlimited installation and compatibility support is available for
Windows XP, but only for Service Pack 3 (SP3). This support for SP3 is
valid until April 14, 2009. For more information about this policy,
visit the Windows XP Support Lifecycle page located at
    http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/?p1=3223. Availability of chat or
e-mail support differs depending on your geographic location. For
customers residing in North America or Canada, chat and e-mail support
    is available.

Some issues may require more advanced support for which there is a charge. "

The answer lies in the words "Windows: No Disk", your PC is looking for a USB
device - e.g. a USB stick or a cell phone - that you've recently plugged in
and have removed without using the "remove hardware safely" option in the
right hand bottom corner of your screen. Put the last USB device you used
back into the USB port and then use the "remove software safely" option.

The pop up message will disappear.

Installed ITunes today for my IPod. Soon after the installation this Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6b7c comes up and just does not go away. I have tried clearing the recent opened documents 'clear button' in Taskarbar (going via Control Panel), have tried to update QuickTime Software, have also tried to properly ejecting the IPod aswell. But unfortunately, nothing seems to be working. I cannot go into 'regedit' since it is disabled by the Administrator.

Is there any way at all that i can remove this stupid message? Furthermore, NOW i have just realised that I cannot access my 'Task Manager' button when you press Alt+Ctrl+Del (it is greyed out, whereas everything is still clickable).

Remember, your system sees your Cricket internet device as a USB drive too. Removing it from you system improperly can cause similar issues.

Have had the Windows-No Disk / Error Processing Message c0000013 Parameters
75b6bf7c since April of 2010. This Error message appeared AFTER an automatic
Windows Update download. I have had my CPU at the computer shop twice
already and the guys there cannot discover what the problems is.

I have uninstalled and re-installed all printer original software,
downloaded updates and installed those. I have uninstalled SP3; I have
always used the "remove software safely" when using a cell phone, flash
    drive, etc.

Sometimes I wonder if Microsoft deliberately causes errors of this type to
try to force the people that use Windows XP into switching to the latest
operating system: Windows 7. Can't prove it, but it sure is suspicious that
numerous XP users have the SAME problem

Which update? Our resident mind reader is on sabbatical on Jupiter. Did
    you try uninstalling the update?
    Auto Repair Shop?

    Aren't you the studious one...

You were doing fine until this. Instead of starting your own thread with
your specific problem, you hijack an old thread and then you blame M$. This
will endear you to the people who may have considered helping you. The
repair for most of these problems is usually simple. Taking your "CPU" to
an auto repair shop, probably Best Buy, will cause you more harm than good.
Those people have problems finding the on/off button.

Now I suggest you try this again and ask your question like a normal human
being and not an uneducated moron.

    Re: Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf

I am receiving the same basic message as the original post. The operating system on this computer is: Windows XP with SP3 installed. The computer has a fresh installation of everything including a reformat of the hard drive. I have two CD/DVD players one of which does write to both CD's and DVD's. The other will write to CD's and will play DVD's. The computer is a HP Pavilion which I purchased new 3 or 4 years ago. The installation CD for Windows is the full installation version not the upgrade. It did not come with the computer. The origional installation was on the hard disk and though it looks to be there only locked up the computer when I tried to use it. The back up program disk burned at the time I purchased it do the same thing. Other than this problem the computer is running fine.

To comment on an earlier reply to the post. I did not use any USB or other removable hardware that is not still connected. The message that comes up advises "No Disk". It does it whenever a disk (CD or DVD) is inserted or removed from either of the CD/DVD drives. The message also has option buttons to "Cancel", "Try Again" and "Continue". When this box pops up I have to click on Cancel 4 or 5 times to get it to close but it does close. If I do not close it when a disk is put in it will add another 4 or 5 (it has done both 4 and 5 times) to the stack. The stack of these boxes appear to be only one window, they do not look like 4 or 5 windows stacked on each other and then moved slightly apart as other applications in Windows will do.

Any help ... with the exception of name calling ... will be greatly appreciated.

check this out...this is the easy way to solve that problem...just run "regedit" the follow this

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows]

then find the name ErrorMode and change its value data by doing right click on the errormode itself and change value date from 0 to 2...

    it really works....

    thanks
    it does work!!

Thanks a lot it worked perfectly for me too !

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I know nothing about computers. I was starting to panic because mine has been crashing every time I would try to open any file that contained photos. (I'm a photographer) Also programs were slow to open and would freeze, especially outlook. Now after changing that one little number my computer is supper fast! I was about to take it to someone so they could fix it. I don't have the extra money to spend right now so I'm so thankful to you for posting this! You Rock.

I just started getting this error message. I tried the repair. It worked. Thanks.

Have you followed the above workaround to solve this issue? In any case, you can try to disable your floppy disk from your BIOS. You can also just run "regedit" the follow this [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows] then find the name ErrorMode and change its value data by doing right click on the errormode itself and change value date from 0 to 2.
