Am using HP Pavillion, XP, XP2 and IE 7. Cannot open Youtube videos....error " you either have Java Script turned off or an old version of Flash Player". Neither is true. I note thet ActiveX controls are inactive when accessing Web with IE 7. Could this be a problem or other??
Thank you
CBlake

Select Tools > Internet Options.
Click on the Security tab.
Click the Custom Level button.
Scroll down to the Scripting section.
Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets.
Click OK.
Select YES if a box appears to confirm.
Click OK. Close window.
Reload page.

If you are still receiving the JavaScript error when you have it enabled, you should try completely uninstalling the Flash Player, and then reinstalling the most recent version.

Dear CBlake,
I hv a website with youtube video.
When I opened my website, the page was blank.
I used windows home edition , spec-2.
I used both IE and Mozilla Firefox.

I also installed parental protection program i.e. Blue Coat K9 Web Proctection.
Then I open the Web Site Exceptions, sites to always allow and I added : youtube.com.

Now I can open the youtube video both using IE and Mozilla Firefox.

You may try to add: youtube.com at any of your web protection.

Wish this can solve your problem.

Cannot open Youtube videos...

Dear CBlake,
Do you installed any web protection ( such as: Blue Coat k9 Web Protection ) ?

If so, pls click on web site exceptions.
Then click sites to always allow and I added : youtube.com.

Either refresh or restart your computer.
Wish this can solve your problem.

Rgds,
Hendra Subrata Liu
