mstscax.dll does not match the version of the client shell

    Good morning,
I have searched all over to no avail. I've the following problem on my machine.
When I try and start a 'remote desktop connection' from the server, a
small dialogue box pops up with the text:-
"the terminal services activex control (mstscax.dll) does not match
the version of the client shell" with an 'ok' button. I click the
button and a new pop up appears: "Error - Try reconnect again...".
I'm running sbs Windows XP Professional.
I've already reregister the Mstscax.dll file using the comand regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\mstscax.dll
    Please could anybody help me?
    Thanks,
    Rosi

You might have a version mismatch. Try installing the new version 6 RDP on both ends:

    CAUSE
This problem occurs when the Mstscax.dll file is not reregistered when the Windows XP service pack is applied.

    RESOLUTION
To solve this problem, run the Regsvr32.exe program to reregister the Mstscax.dll file. To do this, click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\mstscax.dll, and then click OK.
