Sidebar slideshow

This morning I clicked on a pic in the slideshow gadget on my vista sidebar. It, for some reason, opened with MS Office 2007 Pic and Fax Viewer. This software was a beta version and had expired. I uninstalled MS Office, thinking that it would re-associate the windows pic viewer with the slideshow gadget. It didn't. Now I get an error that says "No such interface supported".
Any ideas on how to get it working again.

When you right click on the slideshow in the sidebar you get these choices:
Add gadgets, Detach from sidebar, Move, Opacity, Options and Close Gadget.
If ya click on Options there is nothing to do with associating with anything. The pictures open fine from folders just not from the sidebar.
