WMP11-error C00D109B .mp3 files!

I have Window Media Player 11. When I try to play any files with an extension of .mp3, it pops up as "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found."

I click on web help, and it says I have the error message C00D109B. Can someone tell me what I need to download to fix this??

have you tried giving a shot by uninstalling & then reinstalling the application.
