    strtdb80.exe application error in winXP

    I have a windows xp system .whenever i try 2 boot the system i get the error "strtdb80.exe application error " and it specifies some memory location address which coud not be read with option to "OK" to terminate and "CANCEL" to debug.
    i get the error after i view the desktop what shall i do?

    Download memtest (search google) and check your ram first.

    Try reparing your win xp by putting the xp cd in the cd rom and running the command
    "sfc /scannow" in command prompt.

    try going back to an earlier date with system restore.
