Error 732 of PartionMagic 8.0, Problem with Reducing Partion Size

I have a 80 GB SATA 7200rpm HDD and partitioned it into 5 NTFS partions/drives. I'm using PartionMagic 8.0 and while trying to reduce the size of C Drive, where I have installed Windows XP+SP2, I got the following error message:

"Error 732 while executing batch
Error 732:
Will now reboot
Press any key to continue
Please manually reboot your computer"

Please help.

Error 732: Attempts to handle too many NTFS attributes. Well that is how it is explained by Symantec.

Symantec Support suggests running chkdsk/f ! (Take a look.) You may want to start in safe mode to do this. Or Boot from XP disk.
