How to fix slave does not respond error on Input director

I am facing issue while using Input director on my Windows based system. It is not working well. It keeps on giving me salve does not respond error whenever I try to connect to a network pc. Before it use to work. I had just recently shifted to Comodo Internet security and after that I am getting the problem. I tried to fix this a number of time but it is not working. What to do.

You can try turning off Input Directory and then turning it on back again. Do this a few time and it will start working. For proper connection go in the slave machine. And in that click on Enable Slave. Then go in your Master pc and enable Master. Under Master Configuration below you can find Slave section. Add the IP address of the Slave pc and done. The connection will start working.

I know the reason behind this problem. I had faced this and I was able to fix this after trying a few things. You said that you had shifted to Comodo Internet Security recently. This antivirus comes with a Firewall in it. And this Firewall is blocking the connectivity. For that right click on icon of Comodo in System Tray and choose Firewall. In that click on Disabled. Select 60 minutes and then test back.
