    After editing & saving General data of mp4 file in vlc, Now Mp4 file not workin?

    After editing & saving General data of mp4 file in vlc media player, Now Mp4 file not playing video & audio?
    How to play the file?
    i have tried in GOM Player, then also no use.
    General data Tab which is located in Media Information in VLC.
    i have added Yooo in "Encoded By" box which is located in General data Tab
    then i click save metadata, after that Mp4 file not playing video & audio in any player. pls help how to regain my mp4 file it is 0.9 GB file

    You need to first reset the VLC preferences from this link - http://wiki.videolan.org/Reset_prefs. After that run Vlc with the below command line:
    vlc --extraintf=logger --verbose=2 --logfile=C:\vlc.log --logmode=text --file-logging

    You might need to change the path to the destination file for a location folder where you are allowed to write in. Now start the conversion and then post the full resulting log here.
