    Adobe Reader X eula.exe error

Well, I downloaded the Adobe Reader X version on my pc from some website and it changed all the desktop icon similar to the adobe icon. Now, when I am trying to open any of those icon then I am getting an error message that says "eula.exe error". I am on Windows Vista OS and when I tried to uninstall it, still was getting the same problem? Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Thank you

You can try to open Adobe Reader and then try to repait it by going to its help menu and choose 'Repair Adobe Reader installation'. Or else you can even try to press ctrl+alt+del to start Task Manager and then click on Processes. After that find the EULA.exe file and right click on it and then click to end its process. After you have disabled this exe file from the task manager, then you should run a scan in your system if the Eula.exe file has been infected by some virus or so.

I would say, it is better to download the Adobe Flash Reader from its official website only. Since you have downloaded it from some other website then it could be possible that the eula.exe file in it came infected and spread in your computer. So, do a scan with your antivirus software in Safe Mode and then remove all software related to adobe. After that boot to normal mode and then download the latest Adobe Reader from here - http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Apply the applicable registry fixes available at the following links:
    1. Download and save the applicable file for Windows Vista from here.
    2. Unzip (extract) the contents (.reg file) to the desktop.
    3. Make sure that you have administrative privileges. Then, right-click the .reg file and select Merge.
    4. Restart the computer.
