Steps to expand text boundaries in Word 2013

I ma using Office Suites since long time and have used version 2003, 2007 and office 2010. Now i have upgraded the same to Office 2013. Everything is working good but i have a small problem with Word. Unlike earlier version seems like Word 2013 dont have margin system to increase the text boundaries. I mean, here i can see the text boundary just around the first line which keeps expanding as i go on typing line by line. This is not the way i have seen in other older MS Word. Also it is not comfortable for me. So can anyone here please tell me if there is any way we can increase this margin like Word 2010 or Word 2007?

I installed Office 2013 last month on my Windows 8 laptop, used it for a week and uninstalled. Reverted back to Office 2010. The issue you have mentioned is the one from those issues which led me to remove Office 2013. It will be sad to hear for you that there is no way you can get the Office 07 or2010 like text boundaries in Office 2013. You have use the same default like you mentioned above.

I think I am not able to understand your post properly but if you are talking about the Ruler which we had in Office 2010, then it is also available in 2013 but you need to enable it. What you need to do is launch any word document or even a new Word doc, go to View tab. Here under Design tab you will see a checkbox for Ruler. Simply check mark the same and see if you can play with the margins now.
    Hope it help.

Just try out this. Go to Tools menu and select Options… Click on the View tab. Under the Print and Web Layout options section, place a check in the box beside Text boundaries. Hope it helps.
