Is Microsoft Windows Defender a good antivirus???

Guys I want to know if Windows Defender a good antivirus or not, actually there is some issue going on with my system. Whenevr I am trying to install avast or avg than I am not able to use any browser. I have solved my issue by uninstalling them and installing Windows Defender. Windows Defender is not blocking anything and I am not having any issue with it but I want to know if I can rely on it. Is it as effective as avast or avg??

In my case I don’t use third party antivirus, rather I use Microsoft security essential. I have used Windows Defender for some months and was quite satisfied with its performance. It used to keep my system quite safe from viruses and malware. I don’t know if it is effective as avast or not as I haven't used that but I am quite sure it a good antivirus.

As far as I am aware Windows defender will keep your system protected from malware and spyware. In order to have complete and better protection use Microsoft Security Essentials. I have been using it from a long time and I haven't faced any issue with it. I think it is one of the best antivirus for those who don’t prefer using Third party antiviruses.

Actually I don’t mind using Third party antiviruses but its just that somethings going wrong when I am installing them. I will check out Microsoft security essential, it seems good. I have just check out some of its review and have found many experts recommending it.

Which operating system you are running in your system?? I don’t think you should have any issue in installing Microsoft Windows Defender. Anyways there are some other antiviruses than avast and avg, if you want than you can try installing them.
