What are the lists of features that are removed from Windows 8?

Using Windows 7 since long years, now planning to upgrade it to Windows 8 consumer preview. I would like to know what are the features which have been removed from Windows 8 those were available in earlier windows version ? I have heard that they have removed windows media player and even there is no Start menu, start button, etc. Could you guys please tell me what other features are removed from Windows 8 ?

Yes you are right there are many more features which have been removed from windows 8. Apart from Start Menu, then they have removed the menu bar and contextual command bar which was in Windows Explorer. instead of that they have added Ribbon. Even File operations such as Rename, Delete can be changed after the first change for UAC-protected locations. They have also removed many commands from Ribbon which were present in Explorer command bar. They have also removed the Wi-Fi toggle tile from Windows Mobility Center. Even Protected Storage (PStore) has been removed.
