STDWW.cab File Permission cause Office installation failure

I am getting "STDWW.cab File" error message when I try to install MS Office on windows XP operating system. Previously I had ms office 2007 but due to some reasons I have uninstalled and when I try to re-install I get the below error message: Setup Cannot find Standard.WW\StdWW.cab.

By looking at your error message I think you system doesn’t have stdww.cab file and therefore you’re getting this error message. So first of all I would like to suggest you to go through following location and then make sure you have stdww.cab file. Check in C:\MSOCache\ , if you cannot seen any stdww.cab file here then try to copy all files and folders from MS office installation CD to local hard drive and then try running Setup.exe from there. To fix the "Error 1335" clean your registry entries.

May be your CD is scratched or damaged and due to this your system is not able to read all files while installing. When you installing software or anything on your computer using CD, you must check the CD for damage.
