I have update WD SmartWare to Version 1.5.4.5 although after updating i noticed that MyBook hard drive not recognized anymore. Also am not getting any content in local drive as well. SmartWare showing local hard drive but won’t show any files and folder under that. Along with this I am also having issue with Backup gray tabs and driver settings etc. with WD SmartWare 1.5.4.5 I am facing lots of bugs, i though I am getting this issue due to multiple drives so I have checked with single hard drive as well, but I am getting same result. I have tried the lots of solution to solve these all issue but none of them helped me. So please can anyone suggest me how to solve this issue.

Same with me as well. Every time i try to update, it gets failed. From last one week I am trying to backup my hard drive but when I open SmartWare for backup I am getting message to software update. I have gone through the all steps to install and download latest update and I have rebooted system after updating but upon rebooting I am getting message to update. From last three hours I am trying to updating SmartWare but I am not able to do, I have contact with the western digital support but they have not replied yet. So can anyone suggest how to install latest version update for WD SmartWare software? Thanks in advance

I was also facing the same problem with WD SmartWare and to install latest update I have followed below steps:
First of all uninstall WD SmartWare program
