Outlook 2010 default folder

Quick question - is there any way that the "default" folder that Outlook automatically goes to when using "attach file" - I'm finding it very frustrating to constantly going looking for files that I have to attach - they are almost always in the same folder - but not the one that Outlook goes to first

I think you have not completed the sentence.. "is there any way that the "default" folder that Outlook automatically goes to when using "attach file" do you want to change the "default" folder?

If you are talking about the default folder when Outlook Startup that is the Inbox folder then you can change it by clicking on tools>Options>Other tab>Advanced Options>Browse> Now choose the folder that you want to be displayed when Outlook startup and then click on OK and then on ok again for closing the Advance Options window and finally close the Options window and you are done.
