How to delete selected mails from the deleted item in Outlook 2010?

I use Windows 7 64 bit and have installed Microsoft Office 2010.

I have deleted certain mails from inbox and other folders in my outlook and as expected it’s saved in the deleted item for restoring purpose.

However, there are certain mails from certain senders that I don’t want in the deleted items at all.

How do we group and delete such mails?

Outlook lacks this feature.

An alternate option is to sort the items by subject or sender. This will place them in a certain order after which you can multi-select the mails and delete them

I am aware of this feature. But I’m working with the ‘deleted items’ folder.
I don’t want certain mails to be available for restore.

Does the feature you are talking about, work with the Trash folder?

Ermm…. I don’t really think it’s available; Not, it’s not!

You have another option to go ahead with this.

You can create sub-folders to group specific email
To sort email by subject or from fields

-Select the folder you wish to add this sorting view to. (deleted items / sent items)

-select the view tab then View settings.

- (option 1) Select "Sort"
You can then choose how you wish to view your emails either by Subject, From, to, etc.

- (option 2) If you do not have the columns visible on the view bar within view Settings, Select Columns.
-In the drop down, select all mail fields. Once selected choose the column you wish to add...
But, let me warn you with the performance issues that you may face.

When I was reading your last post. Everything simply brought smile to me till I came across your ‘but’.

Before I go ahead, I’ll like to know the details of the problem, you said I might face.

Oh!!! My ‘but’ is actually a matter of concern. The reason is the above mentioned solution might hamper the performance in a very adverse manner.

That is because, say you have 1000 contacts and you decide to allot a single folder for each contact, this is sure to cause high performance issue. To be more clear, the amount of data tha data synchronization task will eat up major performance quality.

Open your Outlook client and go to File.

2. Highlight Info and select Account Settings.

3. Once the account settings window opens, locate the account you wish to edit, then select Change.

4. Select More Settings. The the Advanced Tab.

5. Under Delivery, Un-select the remove from server after ..
